Lego Movie Directors May Tackle Ghostbusters 3: Now that Ivan Reitman has stepped down as director of the long-awaited Ghostbusters sequel, Nikki Finke reports via Twitter that Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are in talks to take over the project, which will find the original Ghostbusters in cameo roles as a new crop of youngsters take over the ghost busting in New York City. Buzz: The Life and Art of Busby Berkeley: Ryan Gosling will produce, and may star in and direct, a big-screen biography of legendary choreographer and director Busby Berkeley, based on the book Buzz: The Life and Art of Busby Berkeley by Jeffrey Spivak. Three-time Academy Award nominee Berkeley was well known for his geometric, kaleidoscopic dance sequences, often filmed from overhead (as illustrated in the clip below), in a career that stretched from the 1930s to the 1950s.
