New Trailer for Eli Roth's 'The Green Inferno' Ups the Ante

The Green Inferno

The first trailer for Eli Roth's The Green Inferno teased the story from the perspective of a tribe of never-before-filmed indigenous people in Peru. The new trailer ups the ante by explaining what the movie's tagline -- "No good deed goes unpunished" -- really means.

In the trailer, a young woman explains that she wants to do her part to help save the rainforest. She heads to South America along with a small group of fellow student activists, all with the best of intentions in mind. But the trip hits a major speed bump, and they soon find themselves trying to save their own lives.

The movie opens in theaters on September 5. Watch the trailer below.
