New on DVD: ‘Predators,’ ‘Oceans,’ Plus: Giveaway! ‘Apocalypse Now’ New on Blu-ray

Predators Adrien Brody’s second horror movie to come to DVD this month and as with Splice, Brody is one of the best things about this sequel that finally returns the franchise to its violent, bloody good roots. Rather than rely on CGI, Predators uses makeup and sets to put you firmly on this hostile alien planet, where humans have become the prey, and fans of the ’87 original will happily catch all the gags alluding to Schwarzenegger’s classic. Sure, some of it doesn’t make sense, but it’ll keep you watching till the end. Extras: Commentary by producer Robert Rodriguez and director Nimrod Antal; motion comics, “Alien Terrain” featurette (DVD/BD); “Predators Reborn,” “The Chosen” featurettes, deleted/extended scenes, more. "Predators"

Oceans Disneynature brings their epic sensibilities that captivated us with Earth to this splendid documentary about the waters that cover three-quarters of our planet’s surface. Pierce Brosnan narrates over the jaw-dropping imagery.
