New on DVD: 'Mummy 3,' 'Mamma Mia'

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Of Brendan Fraser's two blockbusters last summer, The Mummy 3 and Journey to the Center of the Earth, the former was least compelling, but still popcorny action fun. It's the silliest and most brainless of the three, yet Fraser still manages to entertain despite the onslaught of Yetis, dragons, clay soldiers and terrible accents (that's you, much as I love you Maria Bello).

Best Extras: The featurette "Legacy of the Terra Cotta" explains the historical accuracy of the Dragon Emperor's army; "Preparing for Battle with Brendan Fraser and Jet Li" shows the fight scenes featuring those stars and the rest of the cast.

Mamma Mia!
I remember dancing to ABBA when I was a little kid, but a whole new generation got their groove on to "Dancing Queen" and "Take a Chance on Me" with last summer's hit musical based on the catchy Swede-pop. Meryl Streep stars as the titular mamma of a spunky young woman about to get married and scheming to find her real father to walk down the aisle with.

Best Extras: There are tons on here to please fans of the movie and/or the music. "On Location in Greece": There's no denying this film features one of the most gorgeous locales ever; "Becoming a Singer" appeared to be a bit more of a challenge for some of the actors than others....
