'New Moon' Music Video Arrives Online!

Okay, we can do without the parts where Death Cab for Cutie are playing their instruments and doing, ya know, band-related stuff – but if you're going to watch this brand new video for "Meet Me on the Equinox", then you should do so for the never-before-seen footage from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which still hasn't arrived in theaters yet. (Damn you November 20th – why can't you arrive sooner!)

There's not much here that we haven't already seen in the first couple of trailers, though those familiar with what's been out there will notice a couple of new shots mixed in – and I especially like the final shot of the video where half the band is in sunlight while the other half hides in the darkness as we fade out on the words 'everything ends'. That's sort of the theme this time around, as Bella spends most of the film trying to find Edward again physically, spiritually and emotionally, but can she find him before he takes his own life and commits the ultimate sacrifice?
Death Cab for Cutie heads up a pretty eclectic soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which also includes tracks from Thom Yorke, The Killers, Anya Marina, Muse, Band of Skulls and more. The soundtrack officially goes on sale on October 20th, one month prior to the film arriving in theaters – which should give you Twi-hards out there plenty of time to memorize the tunes that will be playing throughout the film.
Watch the music video below and let us know what you think.
