New 'Identity Thief' Trailer Puts Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy on the Run

The first trailer for Identity Thief, the comedy starring Jason Bateman as a man whose identity is stolen by a thief (Melissa McCarthy) failed to gain much traction. So after some re-tooling, today we get a second trailer that puts our two characters on the run from an unsavory type referred to as Paco.

The trailer starts off the same way the first one did, but there is a lot of new footage (and a lot more McCarthy). We still haven't seen any of the supporting cast outside of quick glimpses of Amanda Peet, Morris Chestnut and a one-line cameo from Genesis Rodriguez. The first trailer featured a blip of Jon Favreau, but he doesn't appear in this latest trailer. The film also co-stars John Cho, Clark Duke, T.I., Robert Patrick and Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet.

Maybe they'll appear in the final trailer or perhaps we'll just have to wait for when Identity Thief opens in theaters on February 8. For now, check out the latest trailer and let us know if you're interested in seeing this movie.
