New Battleship Trailer Delves Deeper Into Alien Invasion

Chances are by now you've seen the two Battleship trailers along with the Super Bowl ad spots. If not, you can catch them here. You've also probably already made up your mind as to whether or not you're going to watch this $200 million board game turned feature film adaptation being led by Taylor Kitsch (yes, the guy from John Carter and the Friday Night Lights TV series).

Up until now, we've only seen glimpses of this apparent alien invasion that sets out to destroy humankind. Why they wish us ill-will hasn't been fully explained, but we'll find out when the film hits theaters May 18.

This new trailer delves deeper into the alien invasion, taking the matter onto a global scale. And yes, there are enough explosions and Transformers CGI to warm Michael Bay's heart.

Check out the new trailer and let us know what you think. Are you planning on seeing Battleship?
