More Superman Rumors List Anne Hathaway as Possible Lois Lane

Remember when I told you that we'd be seeing a steady stream of Superman stories over the next few weeks? Well, as of now it certainly appears as if we're going to get daily Superman tidbits, as the rumor mill refuses to stop turning (even during a holiday week). The latest comes from the Australian site What's Playing, who seem to have gotten hold of a casting breakdown that sheds more light on the plot. Anne Hathaway

The brief synopsis says that Clark Kent is "a young journalist, traveling for the globe, who would rather solve problems and help people without resorting to using his special powers." They later add, ""When he is compelled to use his secret powers to intervene in a crisis in West Africa, Clark returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and the hero he was born to be".
This is an extension of the rumored plot that circulated awhile back, so perhaps there was some truth to that whole globe-trotting journalist storyline after all. A more interesting note regarding who will play Lois Lane (a character we haven't really discussed yet) is that What's Playing claim Anne Hathaway is one of the people being eyed for the part. Hathaway, in my opinion, would make an excellent Lois Lane – very contemporary, relatable and grounded.
What do you think about this plot breakdown, and the possibility of Anne Hathaway playing Lois Lane?
