Michelle Williams Is Marilyn Monroe in 'My Week With Marilyn' Poster and Picture Debut

Michelle Williams takes on the daunting role of big-screen icon Marilyn Monroe in Simon Curtis’ My Week with Marilyn, which tells the story of when Sir Laurence Olivier (played by Kenneth Branagh) and Monroe worked on the production of the 1957 romantic comedy The Prince and the Showgirl. The tension that arose between the two is told through the point of view of Olivier’s employee Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne).

The movie arrives in theaters November 4 and features an impressive cast including Dominic Cooper as Milton Green, Julia Ormond as Vivien Leigh and Dougray Scott as Arthur Miller. The film is also a mini-Harry Potter reunion of sorts with Emma Watson, Geraldine Somerville and Toby Jones making cameo appearances.

We’re pretty sure a trailer will be premiering very soon, but for now, take a look at the debut poster and pic. Do you like what you see? Does Michelle Williams pull off the Marilyn look, or would another actress fit the bill better?
