Michael Caine Joins McConaughey, Hathaway in Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar,' Jessica Chastain in Talks

Christopher Nolan continues to draft familiar faces for his sci-fi movie Interstellar. Having already signed up Anne Hathaway as the female lead, Deadline reports that Michael Caine has joined the cast.

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise as Caine has starred in all three of Nolan's Batman movies as well as Inception and The Prestige.

Caine joins Matthew McConaughey and Hathaway with Jessica Chastain currently in talks to join the expanding collection of talent on the movie.

The film examines physicist Kip Thorne's theories of gravity fields, wormholes and other hypotheses that Albert Einstein was never able to prove.

Interstellar is due in theaters November 7, 2014.
