Metallica Movie at Comic-Con: New Trailer, Poster and Clips from Their Live Show

Rock legend Metallica has a movie hitting theaters on September 27 called Metallica: Through the Never (coming also in IMAX/3D -- you can preorder your tickets now) directed by Nimrod Antal (Predators) that mixes a concert movie with a narrative story starring actors like Dane Dehaan (Chronicle). In a whirlwind of a day, Metallica arrived at San Diego Comic-Con, did lots of interviews for their movie, sat on a panel where they premiered a new trailer (watch below), and then capped it all off with a fantastic 90-minute show at the club Spreckles that rocked the hell out of all 1,000-or-so people attending.

We'll have an exclusive interview with Lars Ulrich in the next day or two so check back for that. Meantime, here's the movie's new poster and trailer, then head over to for some awesome clips of the show.
