Megan Fox Now Up For Elizabeth Taylor Role in Lifetime Movie

If you thought the news of Lindsay Lohan being up for portraying screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie, which now has the unfortunate title of Liz and Dick, was controversial, now it appears Megan Fox is also in the running.

Executive producer Larry Thompson says, "I've been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, and have been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox."

Thompson declined to further elaborate on who else he's been in contact with over the role, which he calls, "a very serious selection. It's like casting Hollywood royalty."

Lohan, who remains the frontrunner, received positive feedback in court this morning while facing a judge in a probation status update hearing. Her probation is scheduled until the end of March.

You have to hand it to Thompson though. After all, when was the last time anyone spent this much time talking about a Lifetime movie? Having said that, who do you think should play Liz Taylor? Lohan? Fox? Or one of the "other actresses?"
