'Man of Steel' Roundup: Easter Eggs, Fan Art, Red Carpet, Interviews and Much More!

How perfect is it that Superman weekend falls on Father's Day weekend? (Check out Lessons Learned from Movie Dads gallery.) Whether you're waiting to watch the film at your local theater with your own superman or just looking for more tidbits about the movie, let's get our weekly blockbuster roundup rolling. Up, up and awaaay…

Let's get things started by hearing from the cast of the film. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Russell Crowe are among the cast members who chat with our chief correspondent Dave Karger in our exclusive cast interview. You can also watch Dave chat with Cavill in this week's edition of Weekend Ticket.

What's a Superman movie roundup without an infographic?

From the guy who brought you the 20 Things You Didn't Know About Iron Man and the 50 Things You Didn't Know About Star Trek comes his latest creation – 25 Things You Didn't Know About Superman.

Sam Gilby is the artist's name and infographics are just part of his gallery. Check out his other creations over on his Tumblr. Click the image below for a larger version.

Leading up to the release of Man of Steel, there were a lot of casting and character rumors. Film School Rejects looks back at 10 Things the Internet Got Wrong About Man of Steel including Lex Luthor, Batman and Lindsay Lohan.

Artist David Despau shared a couple of cool Superman creations on his site this week. Click on them below for larger versions.

Speaking of art, if you're looking for more Superman action, DC Comics launched its new comic book series Superman Unchained this week with writer Scott Snyder (no relation to Zack) penning the story and art by Jim Lee and Scott Williams. The first issue also contains an innovative fold-out page.

To say that Henry Cavill is in great shape in Man of Steel is certainly an understatement. Dude is ripped. Here's the workout regimen and diet he followed to sculpt the body of a superman.

Also check out Superman and his supporting cast in our Red Carpet gallery. Here's a few pics below to whet your curiosity. Click for larger versions.

Finally, the release of Man of Steel is also bringing to life talk of the long-awaited Justice League movie. We touch on it briefly in today's Fanboy Fix, but FirstShowing.net took a more in-depth look at how Zack Snyder's film indirectly sets up a Justice League movie somewhere down the line. The post points out various subtle Easter eggs to look out for in Man of Steel. For more Easter eggs, trivia and references, check out Screenrant's compilation gallery.
