Lindsay Lohan to Portray Elizabeth Taylor?

There are moments in Hollywood casting that really make you scratch your head and question the sanity of this already crazy industry.

Lindsay Lohan, who channeled Marilyn Monroe for her recent Playboy pictorial, is reportedly in early talks to play screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie about Taylor's romance with Richard Burton.
According to Deadline, the movie, Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, will focus on Taylor's long and public romance with Burton.
Taylor and Burton were married twice, first from 1964-1974 and then again from 1975-76.
The project was originally announced as part of Lifetime's 2011-12 development slate.
Last month, a number of jewelry pieces that were gifts from Burton fetched $137 million as part of an auction.
Lohan's most recent acting credit includes the film Machete.
Do you think Lohan should play Taylor or do you have someone else in mind?
