Leonardo DiCaprio Appreciates Showmanship in Final 'Django Unchained' Trailer

“There is no one that appreciates showmanship more than Monsieur Calvin J. Candy!”

That’s Leonardo DiCaprio, devouring chunks of scenery as a merciless plantation owner in the final trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated Django Unchained. We’ve seen TV spots and international trailers creeping across the Web as we gear up for the film’s Dec. 25 release. Now, a domestic trailer has been posted to Yahoo Movies, which we’re happy to share below:

I spoke with Jamie Foxx at San Diego Comic Con over the summer, and he told me that Tarantino has deep respect in the hip-hop community. The artists love his films. But they also love the way he exploits genres in search of the story he wants to tell. Foxx kept calling QT “hip-hop,” and I can see it in this trailer. The gunshots set to the beats of a rap track. The rhythm. The attitude. It actually prompts me to see Django Unchained in a new light.

While the trailer was dropping, the Weinstein Company also unveiled the track list for Tarantino’s Django soundtrack. The disc will be in stores and at all digital retailers on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

"I want to thank all the artists who contributed original songs (a first for me) to the picture. Most of these contributions came out of the artists' own inspiration and their illustration of the film's soul is invaluable," said Tarantino. "In addition to the new original songs I am also using a lot of older recordings on the soundtrack - many of which came from my personal vinyl collection. Instead of having the record companies give me new digitally cleaned up versions of these recordings from the 60's and 70's, I wanted to use the vinyl I've been listening to for years - complete with all the pops and cracks. I even kept the sound of the needle being put down on the record. Basically because I wanted people's experience to be the same as mine when they hear this soundtrack for the first time."

Here’s the complete soundtrack list:
