Katee Sackhoff Joins Female 'Expendables' Movie

Battlestar Galactica actress Katee Sackhoff becomes the second member of the female Expendables movie being written by Dutch Southern. Sackhoff joins Gina Carano, who signed on last week. While there is no director in place for the film, it's pretty clear that this thing is happening whether you like it or not.

Sackhoff is best known for playing Starbuck on the recent version of Battlestar Galactica and appeared on 24, Bionic Woman and Nip/Tuck.

Variety broke the news which includes a quote from producer Adi Shankar.

"If you spend five minutes with Katee, it becomes blatantly obvious that she would pwn (sic) most male action stars."

According to Variety, "several prominent actresses affiliated with the action genre continue to circle the project," so we should expect more names to be revealed soon.

For now, sound off. Is Sackhoff a good addition to the female Expendables movie?
