Jonah Hill Returns to 'Django Unchained'

Late last year, Jonah Hill was offered a part in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained but had to pass up on the offer due to scheduling issues. It's seem now, something in his schedule has opened up because he's officially joined the cast.

So who will Hill play? Deadline is reporting that it's not the role he was initially offered. /Film thinks it might have been the small but pivotal role of Scotty Harmony, which, when Hill passed was offered to Sacha Baron Cohen. Cohen ended up dropping out of the movie and there was some doubt as to whether Harmony would even make the final cut of the movie.

Deadline says the character is still a part of the film, but explicitly states that Hill isn't being cast for that role. So we'll have to wait and see where Hill pops up in the movie, which has already released two trailers.

Django Unchained serves up some vengeance on Christmas Day.
