Jessica Alba Shoots Guns, Dyes Her Hair in 'Sin City 2' Prep Photos

Jessica Alba is in serious preparation for her role in the upcoming Sin City 2 … as anyone who follows her Twitter account likely already knew.

The actress will reprise her role of Nancy Callahan, a tough but troubled stripper fighting to survive on the mean streets of Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s crime noir. And as she gets ready for the shoot, she’s sharing photos of her newly-blonde hair.

“She got roots that Nancy,” Alba Tweeted, with the hashtag #sincity2 and this photo:

From the salon, it was off to the shooting range, where Alba engaged in target practice (and snapped off a couple of exclusive pics):

“What a way to start the day. Training for a movie is sorta fun,” Alba wrote with these photos.

Now, if not for the actress’s hashtag, we might not have associated these images with Sin City 2 prep. But it appears the wheels are turning on Rodriguez’s sequel, A Dame to Kill For. Stay tuned for casting and release details (though Oct. 4, 2013 is the advertised theatrical date). We’ll bring you the latest as we hear it.

For now, what do you think of the pictures? And will you follow Alba to get up-to-the-second Tweets from her feed?
