Japanese Trailer for ‘Real Steel’ Reveals New Footage

It was only a matter of time before a nation obsessed with gadgets and robots got their own trailer for the upcoming robot boxing fest known as Real Steel. Whereas the U.S. trailer focused more on action, the new trailer plays up the individual characters – Charlie, a man who’s dreams were broken and has lost hope,  Max, a child who hasn’t been loved and has grown up alone and Adam, an old, thrown-away robot. As the music swells, we then get a voice-over telling us that, “When three lonely souls become one, destiny can be changed.”

Check out the Japanese trailer below as well as the American version beneath that. Are you amped up for some Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em robots action? Real Steel stars Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo and Evangeline Lilly and hits theaters October 7 in the U.S. and December 17 in Japan.
