James Bond Reporting for Duty in Final 'Skyfall' Trailer

Let’s cut to the chase: Sam Mendes’ Skyfall gets the Bond franchise back on track. It is a passionate sequel infused with a love and appreciation for the 50-year-old series. It pays homage to the beloved Bond clichés, while also pointing us toward a vibrant future for the ever-evolving secret agent.

And you’ll be able to see for yourself very soon. Daniel Craig returns for his third Bond adventure when Skyfall opens on Nov. 9. The cast also includes Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Wishaw and Javier Bardem as Bond’s chief nemesis (in a performance that instantly places him in the pantheon of all-time great Bond villains).

Sony has released a third full trailer to help prepare audiences for James Bond 23. It establishes more of the plot – a list containing the identities of MI6’s undercover agents falls into the wrong hands – and emphasizes the overarching theme of Skyfall, which is that Bond might be getting too old for this business and possibly has lost a step.

Wait until you see the action in Skyfall, though. He clearly has not.

Anyway, here’s the latest full trailer. Skyfall opens in one week in the UK, then makes its way to the States on Nov. 9. Are you getting fired up, Bond fans?
