'Jackass 3D' Sequel Already in the Works

Not surprisingly, after it scored a whopping $50 million opening weekend, the Jackass boys are already plotting their next film. Actually, strike that – they're not plotting anything because it's already been shot. While speaking to the LA Times, the film's star, Johnny Knoxville, said that they "shot two movies worth of footage," adding, "We have so many bits that we never even turned into Paramount because we were so swamped with ideas – funny stuff. The bits were just coming out of us left and right."

"Jackass 3D"

Director Jeff Tremaine also told CraveOnline that "Jackass 3.5 is going to be great and I hope we can show it in 3D because it's mostly in 3D as well." Fans of the franchise will remember that the Jackass boys did something similar with the previous film, premiering a Jackass 2.5 online only a few months after Jackass 2 hit theaters. However, the studio – as well as the filmmakers – know that most of that box office money was made off 3D, and so we expect Paramount to take a little more time and possibly release Jackass 3.5 as its own movie in 3D. Either that or they'll try to re-release Jackass 3D and play Jackass 3.5 with it.

Would you want to see Jackass 3.5, or are you, um, Jackass'd out by now? And is it all about the 3D here, or do you watch Jackass more for the stupid stunts regardless of what dimension they're shown in?
