Hiccup and Toothless Soar in 'How to Train Your Dragon 2' Tease

How to Train Your Dragon 2

Once you’ve trained your dragon, where do you go from there?
If you are Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), the pint-sized hero of the animated hit How to Train Your Dragon, you embark on new adventures in the skies over your kingdom, where you might uncover an icy world filled with wild dragons… and trigger a conflict that could disrupt peace in your world.
A brief teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 has arrived online. We have it for you below:

The first Dragon was a surprise hit, showcasing some breathtaking aerial photography, which this new tease is smart to employ. I could watch an entire movie of Hiccup riding Toothless, his beloved dragon, for 90 minutes. But there will be more story when the sequel comes out, as well as characters voiced by Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Kit Harrington and Gerard Butler.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 opens in 3D on June 20, 2014. The official synopsis for the sequel is below. A panel will be held in San Diego next week during Comic-Con. We’ll be sure to bring you all of the latest information, so keep it locked here on Fandango’s daily movie blog!
The thrilling second chapter of the epic How to Train Your Dragon trilogy brings back the fantastical world of Hiccup and Toothless five years later. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.
