Hey Moviegoers: Name the Perfect Date Movie

So what is the perfect date movie? You hear people describe a movie this way almost every weekend (ie: "Admission is totally the perfect date movie!"), but what does a movie actually need to have or achieve in order to make it the perfect date movie? Romance? Shirtless hunks? At least one macho fight to keep the dudes interested? Food? George Clooney? George Clooney, shirtless, eating lots of really tasty-looking food?

The answer to this probably differs depending on who you ask. Ladies like their romantic stories where the guy sweeps a girl off her feet, whereas guys like scary stories that literally sweep a girl off her feet and into their lap. But in order for it to be classified a perfect date movie, it needs to hook both guys and girls, and then bring them together in a way that furthers their chances of either beginning or continuing a romance.

Okay, so if we know the definition of the perfect date movie, then name a perfect date movie. And to take it a step further, name the perfect date movie to see in a theater while on an actual date, for those who can get one ... (and trust me that's a lot harder than picking a good date movie).

It's a film that leaves both guys and girls satisfied, and it's also an easy movie to engage someone in conversation immediately after. "How much of that really happened? Do you think Ben Affleck's beard itches him constantly?" "Why can't Alan Arkin be in everything?"

That, to me, is what makes a movie the perfect date movie. It has to entertain like gangbusters, but also give you something to talk about afterwards. Ya know, just enough to talk about until you get back out to the car for a brief stint of awkward silence that leads to ...

Alright, hit me: name the perfect date movie ...
