Here's Your Best Look Yet at Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

You know what your day needs? More superheroes. Specifically giant cutout shots of the ragtag group of space warriors featured in Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy, due out August 1.

We'll begin with Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, the team's fearless, wisecracking leader (and only human). The dude just exudes cool in this shot, with a nice mix of Tony Stark's movie-star looks and Han Solo's swagger.

Next up is Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, who's a fierce mercinary and one of the deadliest women in the universe. She also looks good in red, but we probably wouldn't say that to her face.

Then, of course, there's Rocket Raccoon, voiced by Bradley Cooper. He's a wildly badass raccoon who's somehow mastered a weapon that's almost as big as him. Actually it might be bigger... and he can hold it one hand.

Rocket's right-hand man is a giant tree named Groot, voiced by Vin Diesel. Because when it's time to take out the bad guys, it's good to get as much height as possible. And, well, that's why you make friends with a tree.

Finally there's Drax the Destroyer, played by Dave Bautista. Drax is an angry guy. Drax is covered in crazy red tattoos. Drax destroys stuff. You wouldn't want to be on Drax's bad side

Print 'em out, throw 'em on your wall and start counting down the seconds till this crazy clan wreak some space-set havoc on the big screen come August 1. [images via CBM]
