Harrison Ford Schools Liam Hemsworth in 'Paranoia' Trailer

Harrison Ford? Gary Oldman? Richard Dreyfuss? Yeah, we don’t need very many other reasons to grab a ticket and see Paranoia, which pits all three of these acting gods in a tense thriller set in the world of corporate rivalry. But when you sprinkle in The Hunger Games costar Liam Hemsworth taking a stab at leading-man status alongside these powerhouse thespians, we’re automatically more interested than usual.

The first trailer for Paranoia landed on Yahoo Movies, giving us an idea of the intricate, complicated plot. It also comes with a special introduction recorded by Hemsworth. Give it a look:

Paranoia finds Oldman recruiting Hemsworth, a Brooklyn street kid, to pose as a corporate spy placed behind “enemy lines” in the offices of his chief rival (Ford). It looks like the kind of feature a young Ford would have tried in his early years… and it’s a compliment to say that Hemsworth appears to hold his own when having to upgrade and play the part of a high roller. “I’m trying to sleep my way to the top,” he brags, selling tickets to thousands of ladies who suddenly have Paranoia on their radar.
The corporate thriller will be directed by 21 helmer Robert Luketic. It costars Amber Heard, Lucas Till, Embeth Davidtz and Josh Holloway. If we’re lucky, it moves like a freight train but packs an intelligent punch. Find out when it opens in theaters on August 16.
