Golden Globes Noms: 'Gravity,' '12 Years a Slave' Lead This Year's Nominees

One day after the SAG Award nominees were announced, the Golden Globes followed suit, naming its nominees for the best in film and television for the year.
As the major organizations lay out their lists of nominees, the annual Oscar picture becomes a little more clear. Contenders like Gravity, 12 Years a Slave, August: Osage County, Saving Mr. Banks and Dallas Buyers Club continue to cement their status as front-runners. Nods from the Golden Globes only help their causes. Other movies appear to find themselves on the outside looking in.
