'Godzilla' Is Already Getting a Sequel

Did you see Godzilla this past weekend? Did you love it? Good, because there's a lot more on the way. Following its absolute destruction of the box office this weekend with a whopping $93 million, Warner Bros. has announced its plans to most definitely move forward on a Godzilla sequel. (We can almost hear you roaring with excitement from all the way over here!)

We don't know much about the sequel yet, but director Gareth Edwards--who many critics praised for his gorgeous shot selection and decision to keep Godzilla sightings to a minimum in order to build anticipation--is expected to return.

Since one of the film's most explosive (and memorable) action sequences involves monster-on-monster fighting, we're itching to see which monsters Godzilla gets to fight next time around. Will it be a monster from his cinematic past (like Mothra) or something new? What kind of monster do you want to see Godzilla fight next time around?

While we sit and anticipate future Godzilla movies, here's a fun video that wonders whether Godzilla could ever exist for real.
