Goblins! Rhinos! Sinister Six! Watch the Action-Packed Trailer for 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

The first official trailer for Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man sequel debuted today, showing off far more than we expected out of the initial clip. Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and other Sinister Six hints populate the action-packed trailer. Watch it for yourself below:

Andrew Garfield slips back into the Spidey suit for the second chapter in this expanding saga, which will find our hero going up against OsCorp… the company that likely betrayed Peter Parker’s father, and continues to build an army of animal-based villains with its controversial gene-splicing experiments.

In this new clip, we learn that OsCorp has been tracking Peter since his birth. We find out that Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper) is dying, and that his son, Harry, might be the first one in the Goblin suit.

For all of the action happening on-screen, there’s very little with Electro… at least until that final, breathtaking midair fight sequence. Webb seems to have mastered the art of Spider-Man motion while in combat. The clip, no pun intended, looks amazing.
