Get a Free Scare at 'Paranormal Activity' Screening

I've never been into nightmare-inducing movies, but the new Paranormal Activity film caught my eye with its spooky trailer and audience reaction. Those who've seen it at screenings are generating a lot of buzz for Oren Peli's low budget indie, saying its creepy, home video feel is akin to The Blair Witch Project.

After stripping away the gore and horror of most scary movies, there's not much left, but there's none of that in Paranormal Activity. Its focus is messing with your psyche, enough to freak you out later when you're home alone. In your bed. At 3 a.m. There's still a chance to sign up for a free midnight screening in New York or L.A. this Thursday, Sept. 24., or Demand It if it's not playing in your area. Have you already signed up? Are you psyched for this supernatural thriller?
