Four 'Safe Haven' Photos Arrive Ahead of Tuesday's Official Trailer

The Nicholas Sparks brand is pretty bankable in Hollywood. At its best, The Notebook and Dear John are bringing in $81 million and $80M in ticket sales, respectively. Even lesser-received Sparks romances like Nights in Rodanthe pulled in $41M worth of business.

So Relativity has to feel pretty good about its upcoming Safe Haven, an adaptation of Sparks best-selling novel that stars Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel in the tense story of star-crossed lovers running from a threat … as can be the case in a Sparks story.

We had the privilege of visiting the Safe Haven set in North Carolina over the summer, and will have a full report on Fandango soon. In the meantime, Relativity shared the first four official still photos from the upcoming production (which we’re sharing above and below).

And on Tuesday, Spark, Hough and Duhamel will participate in a Facebook chat timed to coordinate with the launch of the first official Safe Haven trailer. Log on to www.safehaventrailer.com at 4:00 p.m. PST / 7 p.m. EST to participate in the chat, which will be live streamed by Now Live. Fans can pre-submit their questions for the Q&A here, or post questions during the live chat here.

Safe Haven is due in theaters in time for Valentine’s Day. It will open on Feb. 8, 2013. Bookmark the above sites for the trailer and chat, then check back here as we get closer to Safe Haven’s release.
