Ready for a girls' weekend in Austin, Texas?
The Alamo Drafthouse has announced the final programming and ticketing for its inaugural weekend-long celebration of girlie pop culture called Forever Fest. The event will take place November 1-3 at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in Austin, Texas.
Tickets for the event will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 14 through drafthouse.com, but supporters who have pledged $100 or higher on the Forever Fest Kickstarter will have access to purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, October 9 at noon.
If you're itching to get some great seats, make a pledge for $100 or higher and you'll receive a private link for early ticketing. The Forever Fest Kickstarter is open for pledges until Friday, October 25 with rewards ranging from Forever Fest swag and makeover parties to a script consultation by Kristen Smith (cowriter of 10 Things I Hate About You, Legally Blonde).

Friday, November 1
Empire Records – 7:30 p.m.
Check out a rare screening of the original cut from the mid-'90s Liv Tyler movie in 35 mm.
Rex Manning Day Party – 9:30 p.m.
Keep the Empire Records party going with a live band covering hits like "Say No More, Mon Amour," an Empire employee costume contest and a Rex Manning photobooth.
Saturday, November 2
Buzzfeed Animals will present life-changing videos such as "The 25 Most Important Cats of the 21st Century (So Far)," "Baby Goats Are the Charming Jerks of the Animal World" and "Help, My Ovaries: A Giggling Babies Compendium."
Young Adult Book Panel – 2:15 p.m.
Join four prominent authors in the YA genre – Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan (Go Fug Yourself) Megan McCafferty (Jessica Darling) and Kirsten Smith (Trinkets) for a panel with a little less "Y" and a bit more "A".
Danceoke – 4:15 p.m.
Performers bring the best dance movies and music videos to life onstage as scenes play behind them on the silver screen. It's like karaoke, but more awesome!
Sixteen Candles – 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Revisit this John Hughes classic with Liane Curtis (Randy) and Debbie Pollack (Lumberjack), who will be in attendance for an audience Q&A.
Forever Fest '80s Dance Party – 9 p.m.
Girls just wanna have fun and this dance party offers the chance to get down to '80s hits with the Sixteen Candles cast in attendance.
Sunday, November 3
Wild Brunch – Noon
Forever Fest wraps with this mimosa-fueled salute to the sexiest men in Hollywood. Catcalling and whistling is encouraged.
