Fanboy Fix: Transformers 3, Justice League and Thor

New ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ Images, Plus Leonard Nimoy Joins Cast

A couple of new explosive images from Transformers: Dark of the Moon have arrived online, showcasing the film’s human actors instead of all those lovable robots. We’ve got military running from some crazy explosion, as well as Shia LaBeouf back in action with a new lady (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) in tow.
In addition to these images, it was announced today (via EW) that Leonard Nimoy has joined the cast. He’ll be voicing the robot Sentinel Prime, Optimus Prime’s predecessor and mentor, who’s featured in the film’s teaser trailer. Nimoy isn’t exactly a stranger to the Transformers world having also voiced Galvatron in the 1986 film The Transformers: The Movie.
Zack Snyder’s Superman will Not be Tied to Justice League
Warner Bros. has announced that they’re in the early stages of piecing together a new Justice League movie, however Christopher Nolan’s Batman and Zack Snyder’s Superman will not be a part of it. Snyder confirmed his Superman to be a separate entity recently when he told HeyUGuys that, like Nolan’s Batman, he’s doing his own thing. He says, “Like what Chris Nolan is doing and what I'm doing with Superman, what they'll do with Justice League will be it's own thing with its own Batman and own Superman. We'll be over here with our movie, and they'll kinda get to do it twice which is kinda cool."
Can Batman and Superman exist as separate entities along with a Justice League film that includes those same characters played by different actors? I say, sure, why the hell not – but what do you think?
New ‘Thor’ Clip Brings The Funny
The first clip from Thor has arrived online, showing us what happens immediately after Thor is banished to earth. Apparently he falls somewhere in the New Mexican desert where Natalie Portman and a wise-cracking Kat Dennings happen upon him. Check it out below and let us know what you think.
