Fanboy Fix: 'Iron Man 3', 'Superman' and 'Star Wars' Meets 'The Princess Bride'

Jon Favreau Talks 'Iron Man 3'

We're not sure whether or not he'll be back to direct the third Iron Man installment, but Jon Favreau did clue us in as to what we could expect from the next film and, not surprisingly, its storyline is going to be a continuation of what's set up in Thor, Captain America and The Avengers. Says Favreau, "Kevin Feige, who's been involved with superhero movies with Marvel movies since the X-Men films, is very aware of his path and how to weave [things together], so in theory, 'Iron Man 3′ is going to be a sequel or continuation of 'Thor,' 'Hulk,' 'Captain America' and 'Avengers'… This whole world… I have no idea what it is. I don't think they do either, from conversations I've had with those guys."
Hans Zimmer NOT Scoring Zack Snyder's 'Superman'
Here's some bummer news for those fans of Hans Zimmer's work: The man has come out to squash the rumor that he'll be scoring the upcoming Superman movie, telling The Hollywood Reporter "How can I say it: My heart belongs to Batman. I wouldn't even know how to go and give voice to it. I haven't thought about it. John Williams [is] the greatest living composer — full stop. And that happens to be one of his greatest themes. So no. And I'm not thinking of rewriting Beethoven's ninth either. It just sounds like a thankless task, you know? So that's unequivocally a no. I have never spoken with Zack Snyder."
So who will attempt to re-define, re-create or reboot John Williams' classic Superman score? Bryan Singer re-tuned it and kept it pretty similar for his Superman Returns, but will Snyder follow the same path? What do you think should happen?
