Fanboy Fix: Edgar Wright Hints Ant-Man Movie, First Look at Lena Headey in 'Dredd,' Jessica Chastain Drops 'Iron Man 3'

In the aftermath of The Avengers destroying box office records of all sorts this past weekend, a few news posts regarding members of "Earth's mightest superheroes" have surfaced. Also, we finally get a first look at Game of Thrones star Lena Headey in this fall's Dredd.

Ant Man

Hardcore Avengers fans may be wondering why the Joss Whedon film didn't include original founding members Wasp and Ant-Man. While we can't help you out on the Wasp issue, despite the ongoing Eva Longoria casting rumor, we can tell you that director Edgar Wright added fuel to the rumor mill when he tweeted something Ant-Man related. Could this be the untitled film that Marvel will release in 2014?

Iron Man 3

Last month, word hit that Jessica Chastain was in negotiations to star in Marvel's Iron Man 3. Unfortunately, it looks like things didn't pan out as the actress revealed on her Facebook page that she will not be starring in the three-quel due to an overloaded schedule.

"Sorry to say that Iron Man 3 isn't going to work out. My schedule is jammed packed and I can't fit anything else in. The press announced my possible attachment far too soon. I know many of you wanted me to be involved, and I'm so sorry to disappoint you. Hopefully there'll be another Marvel film in my future. Shane Black and everyone on the IM3 team are really wonderful. I've very excited to see the film when it comes out."

Speaking of Wasp… how about Chastain as the winged heroine?

While Avengers and the upcoming Spider-Man and Dark Knight movies are sharing the spotlight this year, Judge, Jury and Executioner Dredd is looking to muscle in on the comic book movie genre.

The film, which stars Karl Urban in the title role, co-stars Olivia Thirlby and Game of Thrones star Lena Headey.

You can check out Thirlby in previous released photos here, but for a first look at Headey, who plays terrorism organization leader Madeline "Ma-Ma" Madrigal, scroll below.

Dredd hits theaters September 21.
