Exclusive 'Wolf Creek 2' Clip: The Real Hunt Begins

Wolf Creek 2

Inspired by true events, Wolf Creek 2 picks up the story of Mick Taylor, a loner who lives in the Australian outback. As depicted in the 2005 original, also directed by Greg McLean, Taylor is a vicious serial killer who preys on backpackers, and the sequel finds him prowling isolated highways looking for his next victim(s).

What he finds, and how he deals with the hapless tourists, makes for a pulse-pounding, tension-filled experience that seems tailor-made for dedicated horror-movie fans. The spectacular beauty of the Australian landscape is an unnerving backdrop for the bloody acts that are inflicted upon perfect strangers.

As this exclusive clip begins, a passing motorist (Ryan Corr) has come to the aid of a German tourist (Shannon Ashlyn), who is being pursued by the relentless Taylor (John Jarratt). The clip gives a good idea of what to expect from the movie, which is now available to watch via various Video On Demand platforms and will open in select theaters on Friday, May 16.
