Exclusive: 'Ruby Sparks' Motion Poster Premiere!

The kind folks over at Fox Searchlight have given us the exclusive motion poster premiere for Ruby Sparks, opening in select theaters on July 25th. This cool motion poster features and combines the current one-sheet along with unique comp posters that were proposed for the film. Users can submit their own fan art/poster for Ruby Sparks, using the assets that Fox Searchlight provides or completely original art. The 5 posters with the most notes on Tumblr will win a limited print run of their poster, plus the chance to see their poster displayed in their local theater. The latest film from co-directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine) stars Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan.

From the official synopsis: "Calvin (Paul Dano) is a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with his writing – as well as his romantic life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who inspires him.  When Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his couch about a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have turned into a living, breathing person."
