'Ender's Game' Is Coming to Comic-Con! We've Got the Details

Hollywood’s heavy hitters have started carving out space on Comic-Con 2013’s schedule, and the line for Hall H forms to the left.

Yesterday, Lionsgate revealed that its panel – hosted by our own Dave Karger – will include wildly anticipated footage for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and the horror thriller I, Frankenstein. Today, Summit follows up that announcement to reveal that it will bring Ender’s Game to the Con… and we have all of the juicy details.

Gavin Hood directs the studio’s adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s timeless novel about children soldiers trained to defend our planet from alien attack. Summit’s planning a full slate of Ender’s activities in San Diego, starting with:

- The Hall H Panel
The studio's panel will be held on Thursday, July 18. It will feature producer Bob Orci, director Gavin Hood, and cast members Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Abigail Breslin.

- Exclusive Fan Experience
Attendees will be able to visit an elaborate, specially constructed Ender’s Game exhibit outside of the Hilton Gaslamp, featuring eight unique rooms representing the most iconic environments of Ender's world, complete with original film props and set pieces used in the movie. Throughout the experience, attendees will be able to see exclusive film footage on LED screens, interact with new digital content, integrate photos of themselves into the highly anticipated Battle Room, and register to win a home makeover.

- Convention Floor Booth
Summit Entertainment's booth located within the Grand Hall will highlight Ender’s Game footage. Premium promotional items will be distributed to the 120,000 attendees walking the convention floor, and booth visitors will be given the opportunity to win "fast passes" to the Ender’s Game Exclusive Fan Experience, granting them entry without having to wait in line.

Ender’s Game is heading to theaters on November 1. But tune it right here during Comic-Con for the most up-to-date information on Ender’s and plenty other films you know you are going to want to see.
