Does Brad Pitt's 'Moneyball' Trailer Hit a Home Run?

Upon first glance of the synopsis for the new baseball movie Moneyball, you'd think it was just another re-tread of Bad News Bears, Major League and a slew of other movies about a team of misfits finding a way to win. But about midway into Bennett Miller's sports drama starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, the tone shifts, aided by a Friday Night Lights-esque soundtrack.

Moneyball tells the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane (who must be psyched that Pitt is playing the movie version of him) who attempts to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing a statistically based analysis to draft his players.
