'Disney Planes' Exclusives: Dane Cook on His Comedy, His Charity Work and That Time an Animal Got Loose on His Plane

Sean OConnell

Welcome to Planes week on the Fandango Family Room!

We have been looking forward to Disney Planes for months, eager to return to the World of Cars for a new adventure that promises to take animation audiences through the clouds on a globe-trotting race with a slew of memorable characters. If your kids love Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, they are going to adore Dusty the Crop Duster, Rochelle the French racer, and Dottie – the adorable truck.

We recently traveled to Southern California to interview the Planes cast at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, right outside Los Angeles. We had such interesting and informative interviews that we figured we’d bring you the complete audio recordings so you could listen to them in their entirety. Up first? Dusty himself: Dane Cook!

Keep coming back to the Family Room each day this week as we bring you plenty more Planes audio. The movie, directed by Klay Hall, arrives in theaters on Friday, August 9. It stars the voices of Cook, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Priyanka Chopra, John Cleese, Cedric the Entertainer, Anthony Edwards, Val Kilmer, Sinbad and John Ratzenberger, to name just a few. Here’s the latest trailer. Grab your tickets here so that you and your family aren’t shut out.
