Director's Guild Nominations Honor David Fincher, Christopher Nolan and More

If you haven't firmed up your Best Director predictions yet, then you'll want to pay attention to the five men nominated by the DGA (Director's Guild of America) as the best directors of 2010. Yes, unfortunately, men once again dominate the category, but it's hard to argue against their picks. Since 1948, the DGA has accurately predicted the Oscar's Best Director category all but six times, which means, in all likelihood, that these will be your final Best Director candidates.

Christopher NolanNotable snubs include the Coen Bros., whose True Grit won the weekend box office, and, at over $100 million, has officially become the brothers' most successful film of their careers. Also snubbed was Danny Boyle for 127 Hours, and, on the female front, Lisa Cholodenko (The Kids Are All Right) was also considered to be an outside favorite.

Check out the list of nominees below and let us know if you agree with their selections.

DAVID FINCHER
The Social Network
(Columbia Pictures)

DARREN ARONOFSKY
Black Swan
(Fox Searchlight)

TOM HOOPER
The King's Speech
(The Weinstein Co.)

CHRISTOPHER NOLAN

(Warner Bros. Pictures)

DAVID O. RUSSELL

(Paramount Pictures and The Weinstein Co.)
