Daily Recap: 'The Black Panther' Getting Marvel Movie?, Channing Tatum has 'Moves Like Jagger' & More

While Marvel is planning to release a pair of movies in 2014 (one of them being Captain America 2 on April 4, 2014), fans have been debating what the other film could be. Ant-Man? Dr. Strange? In an exclusive scoop, Latino Review says that mystery second movie is none other than The Black Panther. According to the site, Marvel is going after the urban film audience and apparently there is a script already written by Mark Bailey. The site goes on to point out other clues that led to the selection of The Black Panther. Now the only question is if this solo film will occupy the May 16, 2014 release date. There has been no official word from Disney/Marvel. [Latino Review]

Jon Favreau has emerged as the leading candidate to direct an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys. The film will use much of the music featured in the stage play. If he signs on, let's hope it works out better than his last directorial effort, Cowboys & Aliens. [Variety]
