The Artist star Jean Dujardin is in talks to join Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street. Dujardin is negotiating for the part of Jean-Jacques Handali, a slick Swiss banker who helps Leonardo DiCaprio's Jordan Belfort launder his money. [Variety]

Paramount has announced that Jason Reitman has begun production on Labor Day. No this isn't another one of those holiday-themed comedies packed full of Hollywood actors and Garry Marshall's name on the director's chair. Labor Day is an adaptation of Joyce Maynard's novel starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin about a teenage boy and his reclusive mother (Winslet) who encounter a mysterious drifter (Brolin) over the holiday weekend.

Easy A director Will Gluck has been tapped to direct and produce an adaptation of the novel Skyjack: The Hunt for D.B. Cooper for CBS Films. The story follows a man who hijacks a plane, demands cash and parachutes and then leaps from the craft never to be found and thus, never to be caught. The film will be an action comedy. [Deadline]
