Daily Recap: More New 'Magic Mike' Pix, 'Skyfall' Video Blog, Ridley Scott On 'Blade Runner 2' Opening Sequence & More

A new video blog for the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall has hit and while it certainly isn't up to the whimsical short film standards of Peter Jackson's Hobbit diaries, the new clip features a look at some of the scenes that were filmed as well as the return of the Aston Martin DB5! Skyfall hits theaters November 9.

Moonrise Kingdom has been filling theaters during its limited release run. While the film will expand this weekend to more theaters, a new animated short film has arrived online. You can watch it over on Entertainment Weekly and don't worry, there's no movie spoilers to worry about. [EW]

Fresh off news yesterday that Django himself, Jamie Foxx is in talks to play the President of the United States in Roland Emmerich's White House Down, comes word that Maggie Gyllenhaal has joined the cast as a Secret Service agent who will assist Channing Tatum in defending the White House from an attack by paramilitary forces. The film is slated for a November 1, 2013 release date. [Variety]

While an Entertainment Weekly article states that Guillermo Del Toro won't shoot his stop-motion animated version of Pinocchio for another year, that certainly won't stop fans from dissecting the concept art seen in the magazine's new issue. [via Dread Central]

Wreck-It Ralph's official website has opened with a playable version of the arcade game featured in the movie. Watch out for bricks and ducks. The film arrives in theaters November 12.

A new trailer for Ice Age: Continental Drift has arrived and while it opens with the same footage as the first one, we're treated to lots of new scenes and jokes in the second half. The film arrives in theaters July 13.

Robert Pattinson fans, get ready! Cosmopolis just got its release date. You can catch the David Cronenberg film about a guy (Pattinson) who encounters all sorts of craziness on his way to getting a haircut on August 17. [EW]

OK, enough shirtless men. Here's the first trailer for Fernando Meirelles' 360 which debuted earlier today. The multi-layered drama from the director of such excellent films like City of God and The Constant Gardener stars Anthony Hopkins, Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Ben Foster and opens in theaters August 3.

Folks on the Iron Man 3 set really need to work on improving security. A couple of days ago,  a paparazzi image of Iron Patriot hit the Web and now today, a new pic confirming the existence of the criminal science organization A.I.M. was spotted on io9. Also confirmed,  a Christmas set, which director Shane Black had hinted at during a panel at the 2011 Long Beach Comic Con.

Warner Bros. is planning on turning the Guinness Book of World Records into an "action adventure movie with global appeal." [Deadline]
