Daily Recap: 'Captain America 2' Drafts Directors, Michael Bay Says 'Transformers 4' Will Be His Last & More

Captain America 2 has drafted the directors of You , Me and Dupree and producers of the television series Community, Joe and Anthony Russo. The duo are now in final negotiations to direct the film which will arrive in theaters April 4, 2014. [THR]

Michael Bay says Transformers 4 will be his final film in the series and the story will be set up so "the next guy can take over." Which means we're going to be getting a Transformers 5 somewhere down the line. Bay also says the film will have an "entirely new cast." We'll see who'll be running away from Decepticons and massive explosions when the film hits theaters June 29, 2014. [Hero Complex]

Samuel L. Jackson has joined the RoboCop reboot and will portray TV mogul Pat Novak. The film, which finds Joel Kinnaman in the title role, also stars Gary Oldman and is eyeing a summer 2013 release. [THR]

The story centers on an Irish woman in 1990s Belfast who is accused of being an IRA terrorist and is forced to become a mole for British intelligence to protect her son. The film gets a limited release on September 6.
