Comic-Con 2013 Preview Night: Legos and Marvel Everywhere

If you didn't know any better you'd swear that Comic-Con was exclusively promoting Legos and Marvel products this year. The Exhibit Hall floor featured everything from full-size Batman and Superman characters built entirely of Legos to virtually every sort of Marvel merchandising product you could possibly imagine. Check out a ton of photos for a better idea.

Vendors were clearly aware of how popular Marvel is right now, offering opening night deals on back issues and paperback collections.

The Exhibit Hall floor also featured a very popular booths from Warner Bros., Hasbro, Funko and yes, Legos.

Outside, in the parking lot across from Petco Park, a giant inflatable Smurf was showcased in front of Smurf Village. Also showcased were exhibits for Mad Max, The Walking Dead, Gravity and Hello Kitty.

The crowd was noticeably smaller this year for preview night. Perhaps many people will be making the trip down overnight or early tomorrow morning for the first official day of panels. We'll have you completely covered from Hall H to smaller panels and celebrity interviews all day long.

If you weren't able to snag tickets for this year's Comic-Con, you can start making plans as the 2014 dates were announced. Next year's festivities will take place from July 24-27, with Preview Night taking place on July 23.
