Chris Pine Officially Signs on for 'Horrible Bosses 2'

He's made a living playing the hero in the Star Trek franchise and the upcoming Jack Ryan prequel, but Chris Pine has finally fallen into the dark side.

Pine, who had been rumored for some time along with Christoph Waltz as a father-son duo who steal our main character's idea for a new invention has officially signed on for Horrible Bosses 2.

Waltz however, appears to be out of the running, although Variety never specifically mentions whether the actor has turned down the offer or not. Waltz' upcoming schedule is packed with two movies (one of them being the Muppets sequel) set for release and three more films going into production. The likelihood of him adding Bosses 2 to his schedule seems slim.

Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day are all returning for the sequel as is Jamie Foxx's crudely named character.

Who do you think should fill in for Waltz' place as the father role of the horrible duo? Are you intrigued to see Pine play a villain for a change?
