Check Out Fandango’s End of Summer Moviegoer Survey

As we get ready to enter the final week of August, it’s time to start saying our goodbyes to the summer of 2011. We’ve spent the past few months watching blockbuster after blockbuster, superhero movie after superhero movie, while saving some room for epic summer moviegoing experiences like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 3D. This summer was also fond of the R-rated comedies, with Bridesmaids, The Hangover 2, Bad Teacher, Horrible Bosses and The Change-Up all satisfying audiences with their crude, foul-mouthed (but hilarious) comedy. And we don’t want to forget about the kids out there who enjoyed box office hits like Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda 2 and The Smurfs, not to mention all the other films Hollywood packed into the back of our summer moviegoing station wagon en route to our local multiplexes.

As we were gearing up to bid farewell to the summer that was, we asked for your favorite films, characters, surprises and sexiest stars of the season, and then rounded up your answers in this pretty little graphic. So check out summer’s biggest winners (according to you) below and let us know what you think. (Click the graphic itself for a larger view.)
