It’s like the best early Christmas present ever. Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18 just in time for the holiday season. What better way to celebrate Star Wars and the festivities than by throwing a Happy Hothidays party!

The ice planet of Hoth is the perfect theme for a winter fete. Decorate the scene with fluffy faux snow, AT-ATs of all sizes and maybe even a rogue Wampa. Just watch your arms.

Hoth can be deadly cold during the winter and your guests will require sustenance that is both warm and hearty. Serve up big bowls of creamy White Cheddar Mac n Cheese alongside delicious Snowtrooper White Chili.

Create an all-white sweets display for guests to snack on throughout the party. Sweet treats like yogurt-covered raisins are a good stand in for Wampa Bones, while vanilla meringues make for light and airy Snow Mynocks. On Hoth there are tauntauns, and where there’s tauntauns there’s tauntaun pellets. Except these are mini marshmallows, a much better alternative.

Let your party guests choose between ice cold blue Bantha milk served with festive straws or warm cups of luscious Hoth chocolate, topped with crunchy Vader cookies.

Finally, you can decorate the whole display with shiny AT-AT cookies and stormtroopers donning little red Santa hats.

This joyful holiday party is a fun display for guests to snack, mingle and enjoy Star Wars and the holiday season!
