Casting Shortlists for 'The Dark Knight Rises' and Taylor Lautner's 'Incarceron'

You better get used to these shortlists full of people auditioning for roles, because this is the next logical step in our quest to know every little detail about a movie before it hits theaters. What was once a race to announce who's signed onto a role is now a race to determine who's trying out for said role, which inevitably leads to stories like this one.

Anne HathawayChristopher Nolan's next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, is on the hunt for two female leads, one a love interest and one a villain. As for the villain, sources claim it's Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra Al Ghul, the villain from Batman Begins (played by Liam Neeson). The love interest is still unknown, though some claim Nolan may bring back Vicky Vale, who was featured prominently in Tim Burton's first Batman film (and played by Kim Basinger).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ladies auditioning for Batman roles include Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Kate Mara, Charlotte Riley and Gemma Arterton. Keep in mind that this is just a shortlist and may or may not include one or both of the ladies who will eventually be cast.
Meanwhile, while we're talking shortlists, Fox 2000 is looking to pair Taylor Lautner with a lovely lady for his upcoming futuristic action film Incarceron. According to Deadline, some of the girls they're looking at include Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson. That film will follow Lautner, who plays a man living his life in a "savage and futuristic prison society."
Out of both these shortlists, who would you like to see nab starring roles?
