Box Office Poll: Who Will Win The Weekend? (2/18-2/20)

Last weekend I was definitely surprised to see Just Go With It sneak out a win over Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never, especially because the latter film was in 3D, and also because Bieber has, like, a gazillion loyal fans waiting and willing to devour anything this kid does. It just goes to show you, though, how established, reliable comic actors have the power to defeat young, hip, cocky pop stars any day of the week. Will any of this week’s new releases provide any sort of competition for last week’s big guns? Let’s take a look …

What’s The Scoop: Liam Neeson returns to action in a film where he plays a guy who finds himself in a car wreck, only to recover and learn that someone has stolen his entire life.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: People are comparing this to Taken because both films came out around the same time, and both feature Liam Nesson. So that buzz alone could help propel this to a number one spot, even though the only thing both films have in common is the fact that they star Liam Neeson.
What’s The Scoop: Martin Lawrence returns for one more round of his cross-dressing, fat-suit franchise, only this time he’s brought with him Brandon T. Jackson. Both men dress up as ugly woman in an attempt to solve crimes and make us laugh at the same time. Does it work? Hey, you be the judge.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: Though Martin Lawrence isn’t as popular as he once was, there’s a reason why this franchise has coughed up three films. Reason enough to pick it to win? Not sure about that, but it’ll definitely do some damage.
What’s The Scoop: Rising star Alex Pettyfer stars in this sci-fi action film about a group of aliens who escape their home planet and attempt to blend in with everyone else on earth, while dodging the enemy force that comes looking for them.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: This is the film Fandango readers were looking forward to the most this month, which means it has a good shot at winning the weekend (since our readers know what they’re talking about, natch).
My Prediction: I’m listening to you folks on this and going with I Am Number Four for the win. Don’t let me down!
Now it’s your turn – sound off below and let us know which film you think will win the weekend.
